One of Hong Kong’s most iconic couple have tied the knot. Tong Leung and Carina Lau who have been with each other for 19 years have finally married in the beautiful and mystical Kingdom of Bhutan!
A lavish wedding was held together with a traditional Buddhist ceremony in the luxurious Uma Paro Hotel in Bhutan. A beautiful 5-tier cake was specially flown in from Bangkok! Approximately 100 guests were also flown in on private jets to witness the beautiful ceremony planned by Wong Kar Wai, the famous producer, and included Hong Kong luminaries such as Brigette Lin and Faye Wong.
Carina Lau was dressed in a Vera Wang wedding gown for their Western ceremony and later changed into the traditional Bhutanese costume. Her jewellery was a whooping 12 carat Cartier ring, worth over 10 million Hong Kong dollars!
Whew, now that’s a wedding worth waiting 19 years for!
