Cheap Wedding Gowns

A recent trip to Petaling Street or KL’s Chinatown turned up some surprising finds. Along the pedestrian mall and partly hidden by stalls selling counterfeit Louis Vuitton bags lies a little shop that sells the cheapest wedding gowns I had ever seen!

Where? Find out below!

The airconditioned shop is not hard to miss as it has a model right in the front wearing an elaborate wedding gown with lace detailing and a long train. It is pretty enough to be in a magazine and best of all, retails for only less than RM400!

However, a closer look revealed that the material felt a lot like plastic and polyster which might explain its cheap price. Other wedding gowns are available in the same shop in various designs for as cheap as RM280! While it may not be entirely comfortable, it is a great buy for a bride who is looking for a cheap wedding gown for a photoshoot or her actual wedding day.

The shop also stocks lots of bridal accessories such as gloves, hair pieces and veils. The veils are as cheap as RM25 and come attached with a little comb so it makes it easier to pin onto your hair. There is also a range of elaborate evening gowns in all shades and designs going for a very cheap price which is great if you are on a tight wedding budget.

To get there, walk along the start of Petaling Street (opposite Kota Raya supermarket) towards the end of it. The shop is towards the end of the pedestrian mall and has a big banner to advertise its wedding gowns. It is hard to miss!

Happy bargain-hunting! :)
