Edible wedding favors are always a great idea as your wedding guests can actually eat or use them. When choosing your edible wedding favours, it is important to look for something that will not spoil or melt easily. You don’t want your guests to bring home a bad stomach together with fond memories of your wedding!
Personalised Honey Pots For Wedding Favors

We love the idea of tiny personalised honey pots for each guest as a sweet ending to your wedding and to symbolise the sweet beginnings of a new life together! You can easily prepare this yourself (with the help of your family or bridesmaids) and it may not necessarily be expensive.
-
Visit your local bee farm or honey shop to negotiate for a bulk discount on your honey.
-
Then drop by your local craft shop or market to pick up tiny little glass jars which are not too expensive.
-
Here comes the sticky business!
-
Carefully pour the honey into your little jars, label them and you’re set to go!
Honey does not spoil easily either so you can actually prepare your favours approximately one month to three weeks before your wedding then store them in a cool dark place.
Tip: Do ensure your jars are dry and do not have water in them as that might cause the honey to spoil.

Homemade Jam Favours

If you have family members who are great cooks, consider giving your guests little jam jars of their delicious homemade jam as wedding favours! What a lovely way for your guests to remember your wedding by as they enjoy your favor with their morning breakfast.
Making jam might be a little more work however, it also does not have to be expensive as long as you stick to seasonal fruit. If you are living in a tropical country, consider making pineapple or mango jam instead of apple or strawberry jam.
Tip: Like honey, jam can be stored for quite some time if it is prepared correctly, cooked long enough and your bottles are dry.
These delicious wedding favors will definitely make your guests smile. It is a wonderful way to share the sweetness of the occasion with your guests and family!

Is there any exact place where i can get little glass jars at low price?
Hi Shelina – Hm, I’m not so sure but perhaps you can try the wholesalers in Petaling Street? I’ve also heard that Nilai 3 in Seremban might be a good place to source for favours. If you’re planning to use them for honey, do be sure to clean and sterilise them properly before you fill it up!
