Sandra Bullock’s Wedding Gown In The Proposal

There are some wedding gowns featured in movies that are truly inspiring and some that are a little more different.

Sandra Bullock’s wedding gown in her latest movie “The Proposal” was a 1930’s inspired silk Charmeuse vintage wedding gown. Featuring a high Victorian collar and long sleeves with adorable fabric buttons, it is a simple gown that bares nothing! Perfect for conservative brides or vintage wedding gown lovers!

Movie Trivia:

  • The costume designer, Cat Thomas, actually made two gowns in large and small for the movie!
  • The high neck collar was incorporated in the wedding gown design at Sandra Bullock’s request.

I have a vintage wedding dress very much like the one in the Proposal that I would like to sell.
What do you advise?

Hi Jan, why not try Ebay or your local bridal store to see if they will take second hand gowns?
