The end of 2009 is almost upon us and if you have just been proposed to, congratulations!
Planning your wedding is a wonderful experience so start if off right by ensuring you have your wedding on an auspicious day in 2010. There are lots of sources offering the best dates for marriage in 2010, the Year of The Tiger. Some are obtained from the Chinese tong shu or from feng shui masters. Most of these dates tend to be generic dates so if you are superstitious or don’t wish to take changes, please consult a good feng shui master for your best date as it may vary according to you and your partner’s date of births.
However, if you’re not too superstitious but just want to ensure you don’t hold your wedding on a bad day, take a peek below for a guide to auspicious marriage dates in 2010 for Chinese couples.

Do note that most Chinese couples do not choose dates that fall during the Hungry Ghost Month or seventh month of the lunar calendar despite there being some auspicious dates then. In 2010, the Hungry Ghost month will start from August 23, 2010 so do avoid this period for your wedding if you are superstitious.
Happy planning and don’t forget to select your auspicious wedding date in 2010 early as hotels often get booked up very quickly for good dates!
With Love,
Elle

Hi,
U might have missed out some of the auspicious dates that many will like, such as 14 Feb 2010, 10 Oct 2010, etc.
Hi Voyager – Thanks. My post was on Chinese auspicious dates and those were not part of the list, however, I’m sure they will be equally popular with 2010 brides and grooms!
The Hungry Ghost month in 2010 will start from August 10, 2010 right?
Hi Lingz – According to the 2010 Chinese Calendar, its August 23!
