Guest books are always popular at weddings for guests to leave their well-wishes for the happy couple. It is usually placed at the registration table as guests sign in and sometimes tend to be missed if there is an especially large crowd or if the helpers forget to remind the guests.

Instead of a book, add some creativity to your wedding by using a wishing tree instead! Its a cheap and easy way to add a unique touch to your wedding. Find out below how you can easily create one.
How To Create A Wishing Tree For Your Wedding
All you need are a few branches and a pretty vase or pot with some colourful sand or beads to hold the branches in place. Choose branches with many little twigs to provide your guests more space to hang their little cards. You can opt to paint them in your wedding theme colours or leave them natural for a rustic touch.

Then prepare small cards or purchase them at an arts and craft store. Punch a hole on top of each card, thread a ribbon through and you’re done!
All your guests have to do is to write a message on a card with coloured pens and tie it on your wishing tree. Once the wedding is over, assign a friend or relative to help you collect those cards which you can then laminate for keeps or place them in a photo album to look back at them again and perhaps take heed of some of the marriage advice from your well-meaning guests!

I love the way wishing trees add a personal and decorative touch to your wedding. Plus it gives your guests something fun to do whilst waiting for your reception to start!
With Love,
Elle
