Zara Phillips Wedding Gown

by Elle on August 1, 2011

2011 has been a year for the royals! 2 weddings within months of each other and what a marked contrast both weddings were!

Zara Phillips, the Queen's granddaughter through Princess Anne, married her long-time rugby fiance, Mike Tindall, in a very private but glamorous wedding ceremony in Edinburgh. Read on for a peek at her wedding gown!

The blushing bride wore a Stewart Parvin creation, said to be a favourite of the Queen. Her lovely wedding gown was made from ivory duchess silk with layers of lace to give it a full-skirt effect. She topped it off with a elegant cathedral length veil secured by a Greek Key tiara loaned to Zara by her mother Princess Anne. The tiara itself was given by the Queen to Princess Anne in 1972.

Two different royal brides, two different wedding ceremonies and two very different wedding gowns. Which is your favourite? Kate's or Zara's?

With Love,
Elle
